From the center of Phonsavan, head east on Route 7 (also known as the main road in Phonsavan). Walk for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with the road leading to the Pathet Lao Historical Site. Continue straight on Route 7 for another 5 minutes. You will see the sign for Xieng Khouang Provincial Museum on your left. The museum is located at C6V6+V5J, just a short walk from the main road.

If you have rented a bicycle, start from the Phonsavan market area. Cycle east along Route 7, which is relatively flat and easy to navigate. After approximately 15 minutes of cycling, look for the sign for Xieng Khouang Provincial Museum on your left. The museum is located just off the main road, making it accessible by bike.
