Getting There

Walking
From the center of Xieng Khouang, head northwest towards the main road (Route 7). Continue walking along this road for about 5 kilometers until you reach a sign for Muang Kham. Turn right at the sign and follow the road for another 10 kilometers. You will see a sign for Tham Piew Cave on your left. Follow the path leading down to the cave entrance, which is located a short distance from the road.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Xieng Khouang. Start by cycling northwest towards Route 7. After about 5 kilometers, turn right at the sign for Muang Kham. Continue biking for approximately 10 kilometers. Look out for the sign for Tham Piew Cave on your left, and take the path toward the cave entrance. The bike ride will take around 45 minutes, depending on your speed.

Motorbike
If you have rented a motorbike in Xieng Khouang, head out of the town towards the northwest on Route 7. After about 5 kilometers, watch for the sign indicating Muang Kham and turn right. Continue on this road for roughly 10 kilometers. You will see a sign for Tham Piew Cave on your left. Park your motorbike and walk down the path to the cave entrance.

Local Transport (Tuk-Tuk)
Find a tuk-tuk in Xieng Khouang. Inform the driver that you want to go to Tham Piew Cave. The driver should know the way. The journey will take about 30 minutes as you travel northwest on Route 7, then turn right at the Muang Kham sign and continue until you reach the sign for Tham Piew Cave. The tuk-tuk can drop you off at the entrance.
