Getting There

    If you're starting from the center of Xieng Khouang, head southeast on Thanaleng Road (ສະຖານທີ່ສຳຄັນ) towards the market area. Continue walking until you reach the main intersection with the road leading to Phonsavan. At this intersection, turn left onto the road leading to Phonsavan. Walk straight for approximately 1.5 km until you reach the bus station. From the bus station, you can catch a local bus or a tuk-tuk heading towards Tham Nam (Water Cave). Make sure to tell the driver your destination. The ride will take around 30-40 minutes.

  • Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Xieng Khouang. Start from the city center and head southeast on Thanaleng Road. Continue for about 1.5 km until you reach the main intersection with the road to Phonsavan. Turn left and cycle straight for approximately 5 km. You will see signs for Tham Nam (Water Cave). The path is mostly flat and offers a pleasant ride through the countryside. Once you reach the entrance of the cave, you can park your bicycle and enjoy your visit.
