    If you're starting from Daugavpils Central Market, head southeast on Rīgas iela towards Daugavas iela. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with Daugavas iela. Turn right onto Daugavas iela and walk for approximately 500 meters. The fortress is located on your left at Daugavas iela 38.

    From Daugavpils Central Station, take bus number 3 or 5 in the direction of 'Daugavpils, Pilsētas parks.' Get off at the stop 'Daugavpils, Pilsētas parks' after about 10 minutes. From the bus stop, walk north along Daugavas iela for around 400 meters. The fortress will be on your left at Daugavas iela 38.
