Experience Gauja National Park

Getting There

  • Train

    From Riga Central Station, take a train towards Valmiera. Trains to Valmiera run approximately every hour. Make sure to check the schedule for the latest timings. Your destination is the Sigulda station, which is about a 50-minute ride. Once you arrive at Sigulda station, exit the station and head towards the bus stop located right outside.

  • Bus

    At the Sigulda bus stop, take the bus number 5 towards Ieriķi. The bus ride will take about 20-25 minutes. Make sure to ask the driver to notify you when you reach the stop for Lielā iela 30, as this is close to the entrance of Gauja National Park.

  • Walking

    After getting off the bus at Lielā iela 30, walk towards the park entrance. The entrance to Gauja National Park is well-marked, and you should see signs directing you to the park. It is a short walk from the bus stop, typically around 5-10 minutes.
