The building that houses the hotel today was constructed in the mid-19th century as the manor's servants' quarters. The manor was known as Gut Karlsruh and has attracted visitors for centuries. After falling into disrepair during the Soviet era, the building was lovingly restored in 2006, retaining its original elegance and charm. Today, Karlamuiza is owned and operated by the Stepini family, who have dedicated over 20 years to creating a welcoming and peaceful retreat. The hotel features 15 spacious suites, each uniquely decorated and equipped with modern amenities. Many rooms offer garden terraces with access to the manor's apple orchard. Surrounded by a 30-hectare landscape, Karlamuiza offers guests ample opportunities for outdoor activities and relaxation. Guests can explore the Karlamuiza landscape park, hike the Amata nature trail, or simply relax in a hammock in the apple orchard.
