    The most convenient way to reach the Shouf Biosphere Reserve is by car. From Beirut, take the coastal highway south to Damour, then follow the road to Beiteddine. From Beiteddine, follow signs to the Barouk or Ain Zhalta/Bmohray entrances. The drive takes approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour. Parking is available near the entrances.

    To reach the Shouf Biosphere Reserve by public transport, take a shared taxi (service) from Beirut to a town near the reserve, such as Barouk or Maasser el Shouf. From there, you may need to take another taxi or walk to the reserve entrance. The cost of the shared taxi from Beirut ranges from 5,000 to 15,000 LBP depending on the distance.
