From Afriski Mountain Resort, exit the resort area and head northwest on the main road towards the Lesotho border. Continue on the main road for approximately 20 km until you reach the junction near the town of Mokhotlong. At the junction, turn left onto the R26 road towards a small village. Drive for about 10 km, then take a right turn onto a dirt road marked with local signage indicating Dam HAARD. Follow this dirt road for an additional 5 km, keeping an eye out for the Dam HAARD hiking area signs. Parking is available near the entrance to the hiking area.
