Getting There

Car
From Afriski Mountain Resort, exit the resort and head south on the main road (A1) towards the town of Mokhotlong. Continue for approximately 16 km until you reach the junction with the R26 road. Turn left onto the R26. After about 20 km, you will see signs for the Leribe Dinosaur Footprints. Follow the signs onto Unnamed Road and continue for about 5 km. The footprints are located on the left side of the road. There is no entry fee, but be cautious as the road can be rough in some areas.

From Afriski Mountain Resort, you can take a local taxi (also known as a 'kombis') to Mokhotlong. The taxi stand is located near the resort entrance. The fare is usually around 50-70 Lesotho Maloti (LSL). Once in Mokhotlong, you will have to find another taxi heading towards Leribe. Confirm with the driver that they will drop you off near the Leribe Dinosaur Footprints. The total journey may take around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on the waiting times and road conditions.
