Walking
Start your journey at the Teyateyaneng Bus Station, which is located in the center of Teyateyaneng. From the bus station, head west on the main road (A2) towards Maseru for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Thaba Bosiu. Look for signs indicating the direction to Thaba Bosiu, which is a significant historical site. Turn left onto the road leading to Thaba Bosiu and continue walking for approximately 3 kilometers. You will pass through some small rural areas and see local shops along the way. As you get closer to Thaba Bosiu, the landscape will start to change, and you will see the distinctive flat-topped mountain ahead. The entrance to the King Moshoeshoe I Royal Graves is located on the southern side of the mountain. Follow the signs for the graves, and you will find the site after a short walk from the entrance.

Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous and would like to cycle, you can rent a bicycle from a local shop in Teyateyaneng. Begin at the Teyateyaneng Bus Station and head west along the A2 road towards Maseru. After about 1.5 kilometers, take a left turn onto the road leading to Thaba Bosiu. This road is relatively flat and well-paved, making it suitable for cycling. Continue on this road for about 3 kilometers, enjoying the scenic views of the surrounding countryside. As you approach Thaba Bosiu, you will notice the mountain rising in front of you. Look for the entrance to the King Moshoeshoe I Royal Graves on the southern side of the mountain, where you can park your bicycle and take a short walk to the graves.

Public Transport
For those preferring public transport, start at the Teyateyaneng Bus Station and look for a local minibus or taxi that operates on the route to Maseru. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Thaba Bosiu turn-off. The fare is usually very affordable, and the journey should take approximately 10-15 minutes. Once you reach the Thaba Bosiu turn-off, get off and follow the signs to the King Moshoeshoe I Royal Graves. It's about a 3-kilometer walk along the road to the entrance of the graves, so be prepared for a short hike. The path is relatively easy to navigate, and you'll be greeted by beautiful views as you approach the site.
