Train
From Balzers, walk to the nearest train station, which is in the neighboring village of Schaan. The easiest way to get there is to follow Landstraße (the main road) north for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach Schaan Bahnhof (Schaan train station). Once you arrive at Schaan Bahnhof, buy a ticket to Walenstadt. Board a train heading towards Sargans or Ziegelbrücke, which will stop at Walenstadt station. The train journey takes approximately 30 minutes.

Upon arriving at Walenstadt train station, exit the station and head towards the main road, Bahnhofstraße. Turn right and follow this road as it will lead you down towards the lake. Continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach Strandbad Walenstadt, which is located along the shore of Lake Walen. It is well-marked, and you will see signs directing you to the swimming area.
