Public Transport
From the nearest train station in Ziegelbrücke, take a bus towards one of the villages along Walensee, such as Walenstadt or Weesen. Bus fares typically cost around CHF 3-5 for a short trip. From either village, the lakefront is easily accessible by foot.
Walking
If you are already in Walenstadt, the lake is a short walk from the town center. Follow the signs towards the lakefront. The walk is generally flat and takes about 5-10 minutes.
Driving
If driving, use the A3 motorway and exit at Niederurnen or Reichenburg, depending on which side of the lake you are approaching. Parking is available in the villages along the lake, with hourly rates around CHF 1-2 and daily rates around CHF 5-10. Be aware that parking can be limited during peak season.
