Public Transport
From Vaduz, take the Liechtenstein Bus to Malbun. Bus 11 runs directly between Vaduz and Malbun. From the Malbun bus stop, follow signs to the Sareis chairlift valley station or the hiking trails. The bus ticket costs approximately 2-3 CHF. From the Sareis valley station, you can take the chairlift up to Sareiserjoch. Note: The Sareis chairlift is out of service until July 31, 2025. During this time, a replacement service with minibuses is available.

From the center of Malbun, follow the well-marked hiking trails towards Sareiserjoch. The hike takes approximately 45 minutes to 1.5 hours, depending on the chosen trail and your pace. Ensure you have proper hiking shoes and check weather conditions before starting. This option is free.

Drive towards Malbun from Gnalp Trail or Vaduz. In Malbun, follow signs to the Sareis chairlift valley station. Park in designated parking areas near the trailhead. From the parking area, you can access the trails leading to Sareiserjoch or take the chairlift. Parking costs vary, but expect to pay around 5 CHF per day.
