Walking
From the center of Ruggell, head south on Hauptstraße towards the border with Austria. Continue straight until you reach the bus stop at 'Ruggell, Post'. Here, you can catch a bus to Lindau. Board the bus and ride for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the 'Lindau, Bahnhof' stop. After disembarking, follow the signs towards the Lindau Insel. Walk straight towards the lake, and then turn right onto the pedestrian pathway. Continue along the waterfront until you reach Gerberschanze, which is situated on Lindau Island, near the scenic park area.

Public Transport
Start at Ruggell, Post bus stop. Take the bus line 12 towards 'Bregenz' and ride for about 15 minutes to 'Schaan, Post'. From there, transfer to bus line 32 heading to 'Lindau, Bahnhof'. This journey will take around 25 minutes. Once you arrive at 'Lindau, Bahnhof', exit the bus and follow the signs towards the lakefront. Walk towards the island, crossing the bridge that leads onto Lindau Insel. Once on the island, head to the right along the water, and you will soon see Gerberschanze.
