Spielbank Lindau is more than just a casino; it's an architectural gem and a vibrant entertainment hub located on the picturesque shores of Lake Constance. Situated in the southernmost part of Germany, near the borders of Austria, Liechtenstein and Switzerland, its location provides stunning views of the lake and the Alps.
The casino's modern design, completed in 2006 by Austrian architects Baum Schlager Eberle, features glass facades that transform into colorful light shows at night, reflecting beautifully on the water. Inside, guests can enjoy a variety of gaming options, from classic table games like Roulette and Blackjack to over 130 state-of-the-art slot machines. Poker enthusiasts can also find Texas Hold'em cash games and Sit and Go tournaments.
Beyond gaming, Spielbank Lindau offers a complete entertainment experience with a restaurant serving Bavarian and international cuisine, and a bar. The casino also hosts various events throughout the year, including live music performances and themed parties.
The casino was founded in 1950, being one of the first casinos in Germany after World War II. For many years it operated from a temporary building, until the new building was constructed in 2006. The city council approved the concession under the condition that 70% of the casino's earnings would be donated to charitable causes.

From Lindau-Insel train station, exit and walk straight towards the harbor. Continue along the waterfront promenade, passing the iconic Lindau Lighthouse and Bavarian Lion statue. Spielbank Lindau will be on your left, approximately a 5-10 minute walk. This is a scenic and straightforward walk with no additional costs.
Public Transport
From Lindau-Reutin train station, take bus line 1 or 2 towards Lindau-Insel. Get off at the 'Lindau, Aeschacher Steg' stop, which is a short walk from the casino. The bus ride takes approximately 15-20 minutes. A single ticket costs around €2-€3.

Taxis are readily available at both Lindau-Insel and Lindau-Reutin train stations. A taxi ride from Lindau-Insel to Spielbank Lindau is very short, costing approximately €6-€8.
