From LSU North, head south towards Dalrymple Dr. Walk down Dalrymple Dr until you reach the intersection with W. State St. Turn left onto W. State St and continue walking straight. After about 0.5 miles, you'll reach the intersection with N. Blvd. Turn right onto N. Blvd, and Louisiana's Old State Capitol will be on your left at 100 North Blvd. This route takes approximately 15-20 minutes on foot.

Public Bus
From LSU North, walk to the nearest bus stop located at the corner of Dalrymple Dr and W. State St. Board the Capital Area Transit System (CATS) bus route 47 towards the Downtown Transit Center. Stay on the bus for about 10 minutes and get off at the stop at N. Blvd & 3rd St. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to Louisiana's Old State Capitol, located at 100 North Blvd. Please check the CATS schedule for exact timings; a one-way fare is $1.00.
