From LSU North, head south towards Highland Road and turn right onto Highland Road. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Government Street. Continue on Government Street until you reach the intersection with North Boulevard. Turn left onto North Boulevard, and the Louisiana's Old State Capitol will be on your right at 100 North Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA 70801. This route is approximately 1.5 miles and should take about 30-35 minutes on foot.

Public Bus
You can take the Capital Area Transit System (CATS) bus. From LSU North, walk to the nearest bus stop on Highland Road. Catch Bus 18 (Baton Rouge Mall) going towards the Mall. Ride for about 10 minutes and get off at the stop named 'North Boulevard at 4th Street'. From there, walk east on North Boulevard for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at Louisiana's Old State Capitol. A single ride on the bus costs $1.25.
