    From the French Quarter, walk to the nearest bus stop at Chartres St & St Louis St. Take the E1 - Algiers Point bus towards Algiers Point. Get off at the stop at Canal St & N Peters St. Transfer to the E2 - Algiers Point bus and continue until you reach the Chalmette Battlefield stop. From there, it’s a short walk to 1 Battlefield Rd, Chalmette, LA 70043.

  • Streetcar

    Board the St. Charles Streetcar at any stop along St. Charles Avenue. Ride it to Canal Street. Transfer to the Canal Street Streetcar line towards Cemeteries. Get off at the stop nearest to the intersection of Elysian Fields Ave & St Claude Ave. From there, you can catch the E1 bus towards Algiers Point and get off at the Chalmette Battlefield stop.
