If you are driving, start by heading towards the French Quarter. From there, make your way to Elysian Fields Avenue. Follow Elysian Fields Avenue until it turns into St. Claude Avenue. Continue straight for about 2 miles. Once you reach the intersection with Claiborne Avenue, take a left turn. Holy Cross Historic District will be on your right after a few blocks. Look for street parking available in the area, which is usually free but can be limited.

To reach Holy Cross Historic District via public transportation, take the RTA bus line 88 (Saint Claude). Board the bus at any stop along the route that serves your location in Greater New Orleans. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at St. Claude Avenue and Caffin Avenue. From there, you can walk approximately 5 minutes down Caffin Avenue towards the river, and you will arrive at Holy Cross Historic District. The bus fare is $1.25 for a one-way trip, and you can pay with cash or use a Breeze card.
