  • Public Transport

    If you're in the city center of Luxembourg City, take the train from Luxembourg City train station to Trier. The train ride takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Trier station, exit the station and walk straight towards the main road (Bahnhofstraße). Turn left onto Bahnhofstraße and walk until you reach the intersection with Kaiserstraße. Turn right onto Kaiserstraße, which will take you directly towards the city center. Continue straight until you reach Willy-Brandt-Platz where the Electoral Palace is located.

    From the center of Luxembourg City, head towards the Place d'Armes, a central square in the city. From there, walk towards the Grand Ducal Palace and continue straight until you reach the tram stop 'Gare Centrale.' Take tram line 1 or 3 towards Kirchberg. Get off at the 'Luxembourg Gare' stop. From there, take a short walk to the train station and board a train to Trier. Upon arrival in Trier, follow the directions mentioned above to reach Willy-Brandt-Platz and the Electoral Palace.

    From Luxembourg City, take the bus line 100 from the central bus station (Gare routière). The bus will take you directly to the Trier bus station. The journey will take approximately 1 hour.
