    From Luxembourg City, head to the central bus station (Gare Routière). Take bus line 16 towards 'Trier' and enjoy the scenic ride. After approximately 45 minutes, you will arrive at the Trier bus station. From the bus station, exit and walk towards the main street (Kaiserstraße), then turn left. Follow Kaiserstraße until you reach Liebfrauenstraße. Turn right onto Liebfrauenstraße, and the Trier Saint Peter's Cathedral will be on your left.

    Make your way to the Luxembourg City train station (Gare de Luxembourg). Purchase a ticket to Trier (Trier Hauptbahnhof). Trains run frequently, and the journey takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Trier Hauptbahnhof, exit the station and walk towards the main exit. Go straight onto the street (Bahnhofstraße) and follow it until you reach the intersection with Kaiserstraße.
