From Luxembourg City, head to the central bus station (Gare Routière). Take bus line 16 towards 'Trier' and enjoy the scenic ride. After approximately 45 minutes, you will arrive at the Trier bus station. From the bus station, exit and walk towards the main street (Kaiserstraße), then turn left. Follow Kaiserstraße until you reach Liebfrauenstraße. Turn right onto Liebfrauenstraße, and the Trier Saint Peter's Cathedral will be on your left.

Make your way to the Luxembourg City train station (Gare de Luxembourg). Purchase a ticket to Trier (Trier Hauptbahnhof). Trains run frequently, and the journey takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Trier Hauptbahnhof, exit the station and walk towards the main exit. Go straight onto the street (Bahnhofstraße) and follow it until you reach the intersection with Kaiserstraße. Turn left onto Kaiserstraße and continue straight until you arrive at Liebfrauenstraße. Turn right, and you will find Trier Saint Peter's Cathedral on your left.

If you are already in Trier, locate the main square (Hauptmarkt). From there, head southeast towards the intersection of Fleischstraße and then take a right onto Liebfrauenstraße. Walk straight for about 5 minutes, and you will see Trier Saint Peter's Cathedral on your left, at Liebfrauenstraße 12.

If you are renting a bicycle in Luxembourg City, cycle towards the Alzette River and follow the bike paths leading to the border. Cross into Germany, and follow the bike route signs towards Trier. Upon reaching Trier, follow the signs to the city center. Once in the city center, head towards the Hauptmarkt and then to Liebfrauenstraße, where you will find the cathedral on your left.
