Car

From the center of Atsinanana, head northeast on Route Nationale 2 (RN2) towards the town of Moramanga. Continue driving for approximately 60 kilometers until you reach Moramanga. From Moramanga, take Route Nationale 44 (RN44) south towards Ambohidratrimo. After about 20 kilometers, you will reach the area of Ambohidratrimo. Look for the coordinates 4998+P8F on your GPS or map application; IKIANJA is located nearby. It's advisable to use a reliable navigation app as signage may be limited.

Public Transportation

Start at the main bus station in Atsinanana. Look for a bus heading to Moramanga; this should cost around 3,000 AR (Ariary). The journey will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Upon arriving in Moramanga, transfer to a local taxi-brousse (shared taxi) heading to Ambohidratrimo. The fare for this leg of the trip is about 2,000 AR and will take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Ambohidratrimo, ask the driver to drop you off near the coordinates 4998+P8F, which should be within walking distance from IKIANJA.

Taxi

If you prefer a more direct method, you can hire a taxi from Atsinanana to IKIANJA. The driver will take the same routes mentioned above. Agree on a fare beforehand; expect to pay around 60,000 AR for a one-way trip. This option is more convenient and faster, taking about 1.5 hours depending on traffic.
