Car
If you're driving from Moramanga, start on the RN2 highway heading east. After about 20 km, look for signs indicating Parc Mitsinjo, which is located on Lalan'Andasibe. The park entrance is approximately 3 km off the main highway. Follow the signs to 3C66+FCR, where you will find the parking area. Ensure you have a map or GPS activated as the roads can be narrow and winding.
Public Transportation
To reach Parc Mitsinjo using public transportation, take a taxi-brousse (shared minibus) from Moramanga to Andasibe. The journey will take about 1 hour and costs around 5,000 MGA (Malagasy Ariary). Once you arrive in Andasibe, you can hire a local taxi to cover the 3 km distance to the park entrance at 3C66+FCR, which should cost around 10,000 MGA.
Walking
For those who are adventurous and fit, you can walk from the center of Andasibe to Parc Mitsinjo. The walk is approximately 3 km and takes about 45 minutes. Follow the main road from Andasibe, keeping an eye out for the park signs. It’s recommended to start early in the day to avoid the midday heat.
