From Ranomafana National Park, head south on RN25 towards Fianarantsoa. After approximately 13 kilometers, you will reach the town of Ambalavao. Continue driving for about 20 kilometers until you see the sign for Anja Community Reserve on your right. The entrance is located just off the main road, and there is a small parking area available. Be mindful of the road conditions, as they can vary.

If you prefer not to drive, you can hire a taxi or a private vehicle from Ranomafana. Negotiate the fare beforehand. The trip to Anja Community Reserve takes about 40 minutes. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance of the reserve, where you can pay the entrance fee and arrange for a local guide.

Public Transportation
To reach Anja Community Reserve via public transport, you will need to take a 'taxi-brousse' (shared minibus) from Ranomafana to Ambalavao. The fare is usually around 5,000 MGA. Once you arrive in Ambalavao, you can catch another taxi-brousse heading in the direction of Fianarantsoa. Ask the driver to drop you off at the sign for Anja Community Reserve. From there, it is a short walk to the entrance. Be prepared for potential waiting times for the taxi-brousse to fill up.
