Walking
If you are in the center of Bar Harbor, make your way to Main Street and head east. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with West Street. Turn right onto West Street and walk for about 0.3 miles. You will see the entrance to the Shore Path at the corner of West Street and Hancock Street. Walk along Hancock Street, and you will find the Shore Path starting at 48-52 Hancock St. Enjoy the scenic views as you proceed along the path.

Bicycle
Start from the Bar Harbor Village Green located at the intersection of Main Street and Mount Desert Street. Head along Mount Desert Street until you reach the intersection with West Street. Turn left onto West Street and ride for approximately 0.3 miles. You will arrive at the intersection with Hancock Street. Here, turn right, and the Shore Path will be right at the corner at 48-52 Hancock St. Remember to follow the designated bike lanes where available!

Public Transport (Bus)
If you're near the Bar Harbor Village Green, check the local Island Explorer bus schedule. Board the bus heading towards the 'Bar Harbor' route. Ask the driver to let you off at the closest stop to Hancock Street, such as the 'West Street' stop. From there, walk a short distance to the corner of Hancock and West Streets, where the Shore Path begins at 48-52 Hancock St. Be sure to check the bus timetable for the return trip!
