Walking
From the Hulls Cove Visitor Center in Acadia National Park, exit the center and head south on Route 3. Continue walking along Route 3 for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach the main entrance of Bar Harbor. Once you arrive in Bar Harbor, turn left onto Main Street, which will lead you into the heart of the town. Keep walking straight on Main Street until you reach the intersection with West Street. Turn right onto West Street and continue walking until you reach the end of the road. You will find the entrance to the Bar Harbor Shore Path at the corner of West Street and Hancock Street.

Public Transit
From the Acadia National Park Visitor Center, take the Island Explorer shuttle bus (make sure to check the schedule for the operating hours). Board the bus heading towards Bar Harbor and get off at the 'Village Green' stop in Bar Harbor. From there, walk east on Main Street, then turn right onto West Street. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Hancock Street. The entrance to the Bar Harbor Shore Path will be on your right.
