Walking
From the center of Bar Harbor, head east on Main Street. Continue until you reach the intersection with Route 3. Turn left onto Route 3 and follow it for about 2 miles. Along the way, you'll see signs for Acadia National Park. Once you reach the park entrance, continue straight on the Park Loop Road. After about 3 miles, look for signs directing you to Cadillac Mountain. You will eventually reach the parking area at 707 Cadillac Summit Rd, which is the starting point for reaching the summit.

Rent a bike from one of the local shops in Bar Harbor. Start from the town center and ride along Main Street heading east. Turn left onto Route 3 and continue biking for approximately 2 miles.
