Getting There

• Shuttle Bus

  From the center of Bar Harbor, head to the Bar Harbor Village Green located on Eden Street. Look for the Acadia National Park shuttle bus stop. Board the shuttle that is heading towards Cadillac Mountain. The bus will take you directly to the Cadillac Mountain parking lot. Make sure to check the shuttle schedule, as it operates seasonally and may have limited hours.

• Bicycle

  If you're feeling adventurous, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Bar Harbor. Start your ride on the Carriage Roads, which connect to the Park Loop Road. Follow the signs for Cadillac Mountain. The ride is uphill and can be challenging, so be prepared for a workout. Once you reach the top, you will find the parking lot at 707 Cadillac Summit Rd.

• Walking

  If you prefer to walk, you can start from Bar Harbor's Main Street. Head towards the park entrance and follow the signs for Cadillac Mountain. It's a long hike, approximately 7 miles, and can take around 2 to 3 hours depending on your pace. The trail is steep in sections, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water. Once you reach the summit, you will find the parking lot and enjoy the stunning views.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  For a more comfortable option, you can use a local taxi service or rideshare app like Uber or Lyft. Simply request a ride to 'Cadillac Mountain Parking Lot' or '707 Cadillac Summit Rd.' The driver will take you directly to your destination. This option is convenient if you're traveling with a group or have limited time.
