Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the center of Bar Harbor, head northeast on Main Street. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Eden Street. Turn right onto Eden Street. Follow Eden Street as it curves and becomes Route 3. You will eventually see a sign for Acadia National Park. Continue on this road for about 1 mile. Look for the entrance to the Wild Gardens of Acadia on your right, just after you pass the Sieur de Monts Spring area. The entrance is marked, and you can easily identify the garden's pathway.

Bicycle
Starting from downtown Bar Harbor, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops. Head east on Main Street and take a left onto Eden Street. Continue towards Route 3, where you will find bike paths leading into Acadia National Park. Follow the designated bike lanes for about 1 mile, and you will see the Wild Gardens of Acadia on your right, just past Sieur de Monts Spring. Make sure to lock your bike at the bike racks provided near the gardens.
