Upon arrival at the Portland station, exit the station and walk to the ferry terminal located at 56 Commercial Street, which is about a 15-minute walk. Look for the Casco Bay Lines ferry that will take you to Peaks Island. The ferry ride lasts approximately 20 minutes.
Public Transport
From the center of Brunswick, take the Metro bus service, specifically the 'Brunswick to Portland' route. Board the bus at the closest bus stop on Maine Street. The bus ride will take about 40 minutes to reach the Portland Transportation Center. Once you arrive, walk to the nearby Casco Bay Lines ferry terminal at 56 Commercial Street, which takes about 15 minutes. You can then take the ferry to Peaks Island, which will take around 20 minutes.
Biking
For a more adventurous option, you can rent a bike in Brunswick. Start at the downtown area and head toward the Androscoggin River. Follow the designated bike paths along the river towards the train station. Once you reach the train station, you can lock up your bike and take the Downeaster train to Portland. After arriving in Portland, walk (15 minutes) to the Casco Bay Lines ferry terminal at 56 Commercial Street to catch the ferry to Peaks Island.
