Walking
If you're in downtown Kennebunkport, start at Dock Square. Head northeast on Maine Street until you reach the intersection with Route 9. Turn left on Route 9 and continue walking for about 0.5 miles. You will pass several shops and restaurants along the way. Once you reach the intersection with Route 35, continue straight onto Route 1. Follow Route 1 for approximately 2 miles until you see signs for New Castle. After that, follow the signs to Wentworth Road. The Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouse is located at the Coast Guard Station on Wentworth Road.

Biking
Rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Kennebunkport. Start at Dock Square and head northeast on Maine Street. Turn left on Route 9 and bike along the road for about 0.5 miles. As you reach the intersection with Route 35, continue straight onto Route 1. After biking about 2 miles, follow the signs for New Castle and take a left onto Wentworth Road. The lighthouse will be on your right at the Coast Guard Station.
