If you're driving, start from Bar Harbor, the main hub on Mount Desert Island. Head southeast on ME-3 S (main road) for approximately 6 miles. Look for signs for Acadia National Park. Turn left onto Jordan Pond Road after the entrance to the park, which is well-marked. Continue on Jordan Pond Road for about 1.5 miles until you reach the Jordan Pond Trailhead parking area. Note that parking may require a fee, typically around $30 for a week-long pass to the park.
