Car
If you are driving from Bar Harbor, take Route 3 South. Continue on Route 3 until you reach the traffic circle in Tremont. At the traffic circle, take the second exit onto ME-102 S. After approximately 2 miles, turn left onto Lighthouse Road. Follow Lighthouse Road for about 1 mile until you reach Bass Harbor Head Light Station at 116 Lighthouse Rd, Bass Harbor, ME 04653. There is parking available on-site.

Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, you can take the Island Explorer bus service, which operates from late June to mid-October. Board the bus at any of the designated stops in Bar Harbor and take the route to Southwest Harbor. From Southwest Harbor, you will need to use a taxi or rideshare service to reach Bass Harbor Head Light Station, as public transport does not go directly to the lighthouse. The taxi ride will take approximately 15 minutes and may cost around $15-20.
