From any location in Penobscot County, take Route 1 South towards Castine. Follow Route 1 until you reach the junction with Route 166. Turn left onto Route 166 and continue for approximately 16 miles. This road will take you directly into Castine. Once in Castine, turn right onto School Street. The Castine Historical Society will be on your right at 17 School St, Castine, ME 04421. Note: Parking is available nearby, but check local signs for any parking fees.
