From South Portland, head to the nearest bus stop for the South Portland Bus Service. Take the Route 21 bus towards Portland and get off at the 'Congress Square' stop. The Portland Museum of Art is a short walk from there. Upon exiting the bus, walk north on Congress Street until you reach 7 Congress Square. The museum will be located on your right.

If you're near the Casco Bay Bridge, start walking towards the bridge and cross it into downtown Portland. Once you cross the bridge, take a left onto Fore Street. Continue walking straight until you reach Congress Street. Take a right on Congress Street and walk until you arrive at 7 Congress Square. The Portland Museum of Art will be on your left.

Head towards the Greenbelt Walkway and follow it until you reach the area near the Casco Bay Bridge. Cross the bridge and once you are in downtown Portland, navigate to Congress Street.
