Getting There

• Public Transit - Bus

  If you are starting from the South Portland area, head to the nearest bus stop for the South Portland bus service. Take the #21 bus towards 'Maine Mall'. After about 10 minutes, get off at the stop 'Maine Mall'. From there, transfer to the #1 bus towards 'Portland'. Stay on the bus for approximately 20 minutes until you reach the 'Downtown Portland' stop. Once you exit, walk north on Congress Street for about 5 minutes until you reach the intersection with Pleasant Street. Turn left onto Pleasant Street, and you will find the Thomas Delano House at 127 Pleasant St on your right.

• Walking

  If you are close enough to walk, start from the South Portland Community Center located at 21 Nelson Rd. Head north on Nelson Road, then turn left onto Broadway. Walk straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Pleasant Street. Turn right onto Pleasant Street and continue walking for about 0.3 miles. The Thomas Delano House will be on your left at 127 Pleasant St.

• Bicycle

  For those who prefer cycling, you can start from the South Portland Greenbelt Trail. Head towards the trail that leads to the Casco Bay Bridge. Once you cross the bridge, continue straight until you reach the intersection with Franklin Street. Turn left on Franklin Street and cycle straight until you reach Congress Street. From there, turn right and head towards Pleasant Street. Finally, turn left onto Pleasant Street, and the Thomas Delano House will be on your right at 127 Pleasant St.
