From the Dzalanyama Forest Reserve entrance, head south on the main road towards the town of Dzalanyama. Continue driving for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach the junction at the Mpingu area. Turn left onto the road leading to Mpingu. Follow this road for about 5 kilometers until you see signage for Small Farm Cities Africa, Mpingu Gardens on your right. The entrance is well-marked, and parking is available on-site.

Public Transportation
If you are relying on public transportation, start by taking a minibus from the Dzalanyama Forest Reserve area to the nearby town of Dzalanyama. Once in Dzalanyama, locate a minibus heading towards Mpingu. The fare is approximately 500 MWK (Malawian Kwacha) per person. Inform the driver you want to stop at Mpingu Gardens. After about 30 minutes of travel, you will be dropped off near the entrance of Small Farm Cities Africa, Mpingu Gardens.

For those already within Dzalanyama Forest Reserve and preferring to walk, you can take a scenic route. Head south from your location towards the main road, then follow the road east for about 3 kilometers until you reach the junction at Mpingu. From there, turn right and walk for another 2 kilometers until you reach the entrance of Small Farm Cities Africa, Mpingu Gardens. It’s advisable to wear comfortable shoes and carry water, as the terrain can be uneven.
