Car
From Kande Beach, head south on the M5 road towards the town of Nkhata Bay. Continue on the M5 for approximately 40 kilometers until you reach the junction with the Mzuzu Road (M1). Turn right onto the M1 and drive for about 30 kilometers. Look for signs indicating Belekia. The coordinates for Belekia are approximately -12.136182 latitude and 33.823659 longitude. There is no entrance fee for Belekia as it is a national forest area.
Public Transportation
Start at Kande Beach by taking a minibus to Nkhata Bay. Minibuses frequently depart and should cost around 1,000 MWK. Once you arrive in Nkhata Bay, transfer to another minibus heading towards Mzuzu. Inform the driver you wish to go to Belekia. The fare for this leg should be approximately 2,000 MWK. The drivers are usually familiar with the area, so they can drop you off near Belekia. From the drop-off point, it's a short walk to the coordinates (VR7F+GF).
