Car
From Kande Beach, head south on the M5 road towards Chikangawa. Continue on the M5 for approximately 12 kilometers until you reach the turnoff for Chikangawa. Turn left onto the dirt road and follow the signs toward Chimphwayi Hill. The road may be bumpy, so drive carefully. After about 5 kilometers, you will see the entrance to Chimphwayi Hill on your right.

Public Transportation
From Kande Beach, take a minibus heading south towards Mzuzu. Inform the driver that you are going to Chikangawa. The fare is typically around 1,000 MWK. Once you arrive in Chikangawa, you will need to hire a local taxi or arrange for a motorcycle taxi (locally known as 'piki piki') to take you to Chimphwayi Hill, which is about 5 kilometers away. The taxi fare should be around 2,000 MWK.

If you prefer walking, from Kande Beach, you can walk along the M5 road towards Chikangawa. It is approximately a 12-kilometer walk, which may take around 2-3 hours. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water. Once you reach Chikangawa, you can walk the remaining 5 kilometers to Chimphwayi Hill. Follow the dirt road signs to ensure you stay on the right path.
