Car
From Livingstonia town, head south on the main road (M1) towards the Likhubula River. Continue driving for about 4 km until you reach the junction with the Chilema Road. Turn left onto Chilema Road and follow the signs pointing to Likwenu. Continue for another 3 km until you arrive at the Chilema Tree site. Parking is available nearby.
Public Transport
Catch a minibus from Livingstonia heading towards Likwenu. The minibuses usually leave from the main taxi rank in Livingstonia. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Chilema Tree stop. The journey should take about 20 minutes. Once you arrive, you may need to walk a short distance to reach the tree itself.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of Likwenu, you can walk to the Chilema Tree. Head south from the center of Likwenu on the main road for about 1 km. You will see signs directing you to the Chilema Tree. The path is well-trodden and should be easy to follow.
