From Livingstonia Town, head south on the M1 road towards the junction leading to the Lilomba area. After about 3 km, turn left onto the road signposted for Lilomba. Continue on this road for approximately 5 km until you reach a fork. Take the right fork, and you will see signs directing you towards Malape Pillars. After another 2 km, you will arrive at the parking area for the Malape Pillars. Parking might incur a small fee, usually around 500 MWK.

Catch a minibus heading towards Lilomba from the main minibus station in Livingstonia. The fare is typically around 300 MWK. Inform the driver you are going to Malape Pillars. The journey will take about 30-40 minutes. Get off at the nearest stop to the Malape area, and from there, you might need to walk approximately 1 km to reach the pillars. Be prepared for a small fee for the local guide, which is usually around 1,000 MWK, if you wish to have assistance.
