Car
If you're driving from the main area of Mangochi Lakeshore, head south on the M5 road towards Chembe. Continue on the M5 for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach a sign for Lake Malawi National Park. Turn left onto the road marked with the sign, and continue for about 5 kilometers until you arrive at the Visitors Center located at XR7G+7HM, Chembe. There is a parking area available for visitors.

Public Transportation
To reach the Lake Malawi National Park Visitors Center by public transport, take a minibus from Mangochi town heading towards Chembe. The fare is typically around 1,000 MWK per person. Inform the driver that you are going to the Lake Malawi National Park Visitors Center. After approximately 30-40 minutes, you will arrive at Chembe. From there, you may need to walk about 1 kilometer to the Visitors Center, following the main road south until you see the sign for the park.
