Getting There

    If you are driving from central Mangochi, head south on the M5 road towards Chembe. Continue on this road for approximately 15 kilometers. As you approach Chembe, look for signs indicating Lake Malawi National Park. The Visitors Center is located at the address XR7G+7HM, just off the main road. You will find parking available near the center.

  • Public Transportation (Minibus)

    From Mangochi, take a minibus heading towards Chembe. These minibuses frequently leave from the Mangochi bus station and the fare is typically around 500 MWK. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Chembe, ask the driver to let you off near the Lake Malawi National Park area. From there, it's a short walk to the Visitors Center at XR7G+7HM.

    If you are already in Chembe and prefer to walk, head towards the lake. From the main road, walk towards the water and follow the shoreline.
