If you are driving from the center of Thyolo, head southeast on the main road (A1) towards Zomba. Continue for about 10 kilometers until you reach a junction. Take the left turn onto the road marked by a sign for Satemwa Tea & Coffee Estate. Follow this road for approximately 6 kilometers. You'll see signs directing you to the estate. The estate's entrance is at coordinates -16.0536289, 35.1124764. Parking is available on-site.
Public Transportation
To reach Satemwa Tea & Coffee Estate using public transport, start by taking a minibus or shared taxi from the Thyolo bus station heading towards Zomba. Inform the driver you want to get off at the turn-off for Satemwa Tea & Coffee Estate. This ride should cost around 500 Malawian Kwacha. Once you reach the junction, you will need to walk approximately 6 kilometers to the estate. It is advisable to ask locals for directions if unsure, as the path may not be well-marked.
Bicycle
For those who prefer cycling, rent a bicycle in Thyolo and head southeast on the main road (A1) towards Zomba.
