Car
If you are driving, start from Thyolo town. Head southeast on the main road towards the Thyolo Highlands. After about 15 kilometers, look for signs leading to Nsabwe. Turn onto the road leading to Nsabwe and continue for another 5 kilometers. You will see a sign for Zoa Falls. Park your car at the designated parking area. From there, a short walk down a well-marked path will take you to the falls.
Public Transportation
To reach Zoa Falls using public transportation, take a minibus from Thyolo town heading towards Nsabwe. The ride typically costs around 500 MWK and takes about 30 minutes. Once you reach Nsabwe, ask the driver or locals for directions to Zoa Falls. From the drop-off point, you may need to walk approximately 1 kilometer down a dirt path to reach the falls.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of Zoa Falls, the best way to reach it is on foot. From the nearest main road in Nsabwe, follow local trails that lead towards the Ruo River. The falls are about a 20-minute walk from the main road. Be sure to wear appropriate footwear as the terrain can be uneven.
