If you are traveling by car in the Thyolo Highlands, head towards the Satemwa Tea Estate. From the main road, take the turnoff towards Satemwa Tea Estate, which is well-signposted. Continue driving on this road for about 5 kilometers. Chawani Bungalow is located within the estate, so keep an eye out for the entrance sign on your right. Once you enter, follow the internal roads until you reach the bungalow.

To reach Chawani Bungalow via public transport, first take a minibus or shared taxi from Thyolo town to the Satemwa Tea Estate. The fare is typically around 500 MWK. Once you arrive at the estate entrance, you can either walk (approximately 1 kilometer) or ask a local for a ride within the estate to reach Chawani Bungalow. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they will take you directly to the bungalow.
