If you are driving from the center of Thyolo Highlands, take the T417 road towards Chigumula. Continue on the T417 for approximately 15 kilometers. Look for signs leading to Bvumbwe Research Station; Game Haven Lodge is located near this landmark. After passing the research station, keep an eye out for the lodge on your right side. There is ample parking available on-site.

To reach Game Haven Lodge using public transportation, take a minibus from Thyolo town towards Chigumula. The fare is usually around MK 500. Inform the driver that you are going to Bvumbwe Research Station. Once you arrive at the research station, you can either walk to the lodge, which is about a 10-minute walk, or you can hire a local taxi for a small fee (approximately MK 1000) to take you directly to the lodge.
