    From Thyolo Highlands, head towards the city of Blantyre. Take the A4 road to the southeast until you reach the junction with the M1 road. Turn onto the M1 road heading north towards Liwonde. Continue on the M1 for approximately 75 km until you reach the signs for Liwonde National Park. Turn off the M1 and follow the signs to the park entrance. Be prepared to pay an entrance fee, which varies, so check in advance.

    From Thyolo Highlands, take a minibus or taxi to Blantyre. The fare is typically around 1,000 to 2,000 MWK. In Blantyre, transfer to a minibus heading towards Liwonde. The fare for this leg is approximately 3,000 MWK. Once you arrive in Liwonde village, you can hire a local taxi or walk to the entrance of Liwonde National Park.
