If you're traveling by car, the Sungai Batu Archaeological Site is located at Kampung Permatang Samak, 08100 Bedong, Kedah. From Kuala Lumpur, take the North-South Expressway (E1) heading north. Exit at the Alor Setar toll (Exit 179) and continue along Route 1. Follow the signs to Bedong. Once in Bedong, look for signs directing you to Kampung Permatang Samak. The site is about 30 minutes from the town center. Ensure you have a GPS device or map app available, as local roads may not be well marked.

For those using public transportation, the nearest bus terminal is in Alor Setar. Take a bus from the Alor Setar bus terminal to Bedong. Buses run regularly and the fare is approximately RM 10-15. Once you arrive in Bedong, you can take a local taxi or ride-sharing service to reach the archaeological site. The taxi fare from Bedong to the site should be around RM 15-20. Please ensure to check the bus schedules in advance, as they may vary.
