If you're traveling by car, start by heading towards Yan district. From Alor Setar, take the Jalan Kuala Kedah road towards the North-South Expressway (E1). Merge onto E1 and head south. Take the exit towards Sungai Petani/Yan (Exit 165). Follow the signs towards Yan town. Once in Yan, look for signs leading to Hutan Lipur Batu Hampar. The entrance is located near Pejabat Hutan Daerah Kedah Tengah Sungai Petani, 08000, Yan, Kedah. There is usually no entry fee for the park.
