If you are starting from the popular tourist destination, Komtar, walk towards Jalan Penang. Continue walking until you reach the junction with Jalan Magazine. Turn left onto Jalan Magazine and walk straight until you reach Pengkalan Weld. The Hean Boo Thean Kuan Yin Temple is located on the reclamation area at No. A, 52, Pengkalan Weld. It should take approximately 20-25 minutes on foot.

From the Penang Peranakan Mansion, head south on Jalan Tun Syed Sheh Barakbah towards Lebuh Gereja. Turn left onto Lebuh Gereja and continue walking until you reach the junction with Jalan Penang. Cross the road and continue straight until you reach Jalan Magazine. Turn right and head down to Pengkalan Weld. The temple will be located on your right at No. A, 52, Pengkalan Weld. This walk should take about 15-20 minutes.

Starting at the famous Kapitan Keling Mosque, walk along Jalan Masjid Kapitan Keling towards Lebuh Chulia. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Jalan Penang. The Hean Boo Thean Kuan Yin Temple will be at No. A, 52, Pengkalan Weld, approximately a 20-minute walk from the mosque.
