Getting There

    If you are starting from the George Town UNESCO World Heritage site, head towards Lebuh Pantai (Beach Street). Walk along Lebuh Pantai until you reach the junction with Lebuh Light. Turn left onto Lebuh Light and continue walking straight. You will pass several local shops and cafes along the way. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will see the Sia Boey Urban Archeological Park entrance on your right. Enter the park, and the Old Canal Lock & Canal Basin remains will be located within the park area.

  • Public Transport - Bus

    From the main bus terminal in George Town (Komtar), take Bus 101 or Bus 102 towards Batu Ferringhi. Inform the driver that you want to stop at Sia Boey. The journey will take about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Sia Boey stop, exit the bus and walk towards the park entrance, which should be visible from the bus stop.
